Integra Dental | Laboratory
Surgical guides and diagnostic models. Printed in-house.
CBCT plus intraoral scan in, printed guide out. Two Asiga MAX UV printers. One lab relationship from guide to final crown.
One Lab. Full Implant Workflow.
Guide, abutment, and crown from the same digital workflow.
The same lab that designs and mills the abutment and crown also designs and prints the surgical guide. When the guide, the abutment, and the crown all originate from the same digital workflow, the design parameters stay aligned across the entire case. The implant position planned in the surgical guide informs the abutment design, which informs the crown design. One submission, one lab relationship, one point of contact through the full restorative sequence.
Surgical guides are printed on Asiga MAX UV printers using biocompatible resin validated for intraoral surgical use. Diagnostic models and implant models are printed on the same platform for dimensional consistency across the case.
Workflow
Surgical guide: CBCT data (DICOM) and an intraoral scan (STL) submitted together. The guide is designed using implant planning software to position implants according to the restorative plan. Printed on an Asiga MAX UV printer, post-cured, and delivered with planned implant positions documented.
Diagnostic models: An intraoral scan (STL) is sufficient. No CBCT required for model-only orders — study models, implant verification models, or case presentation models.

FAQ
What files do I need to submit?
For a surgical guide: CBCT data in DICOM format and an intraoral scan in STL format. Both files are required — the CBCT provides the bone anatomy and the intraoral scan provides the soft tissue and dentition for guide seating. For a diagnostic or implant model without a surgical guide: an intraoral STL scan is sufficient.
Are the guides compatible with my implant system?
Guides are designed to accommodate standard drill guide sleeves from major implant manufacturers. Specify the implant system, planned sleeve type, and drill sequence when submitting. Compatibility is confirmed at intake. If you are using a system with a proprietary guided surgery kit, contact us before submitting to confirm that the sleeve geometry can be incorporated into the printed guide.
Can I get a diagnostic model without a surgical guide?
Yes. Submit an intraoral STL scan and specify that you need a model only. Diagnostic models, implant verification models, and case presentation models are printed on the same Asiga MAX UV platform. No CBCT required for model-only orders.
